a "tween" room

Madison wants new bedding for her bday, and neither one of us can decide on what we want. We were originally going for the pink/black theme, but ventured off once we started looking. The butterfly bedding at the bottom of this post would be paired with hot pink sheets or something crazy like that. I have to say too that she already has pink walls, so we are a little stuck there. Thoughts? Ideas? Other links? Edit: We settled on something from JCPenney-zebra stripes and pink. How can you go wrong with that? Also, I would never have picked a post on bedding to draw more comments than any other post. ever. Weird.

The butterfly bedding would be adorable with pink pillows and sheets as an accent, but I also love the flowered bedding! I guess designing a "pretty" room is a perk of having a girl. :)

This might be a thought since the pink is an accent and the main color the dark brown..

I like the butterfly also with the pink sheets. My friend has the top set and has a lot of black and white pictures to accent the zebra stripes. Its really neat

Love the butterfly bedding, does Todd know of the thing called washing machines? If the comforter comes as a duvet it's easy peasy to take it off and wash it with the sheets.

Duvet's are high tone and and I doubt a $80 dollar comforter set comes with one. Last time I checked a duvet by itself will cost you over a $100.

You mentioned something about a washing machine...what is that? I thought my wife went down to the creek and washed our clothes. I see them hanging on the line outside all of the time drying. Must be some new fancy gadget you Dallas folk use.

Duvets are high tone? Really? I got mine at Target. But ya, y'all don't have Target out there in Wise County do you. (Danielle you'll have to excuse the back and forth in your comments section but you know I can't let one from Todd pass).

I love both, but I think the butterfly with the pink sheets is really cool for my "guest room." As long as it is machine washable...I think you are good to go. Maybe the girls and I can make a field trip. :) (If I can get up the nerve to travel with Reagan by myself.)

If it was not high tone they would not call it a Duvet. Sounds snooty right? It would be called a blanket case. ;) No Target, but we do have a Tractor Supply...bet you don't have one of those close by.
