I'm so proud of our little church's VBS!! They went all out and really made a tremendous effort. It's exactly what I hope the youth program to become. We had to giggle a little though....from the looks of Todd's shirt their pick up plan needs a little tweeking. Very awesome couple of days!

Three years after piercing her ears and then having one earring back surgically removed, we are trying again. Cross your fingers it takes!

Pouring the concrete around the pool tomorrow. Looks like our first swim will be on the 4th of July!

Fun with Aunt Patti

We had a brainstorm in the drive home to head to Aunt Patti's in Houston for the night instead of driving in home it staying in a hotel. The kids were pumped to see her and Tini, and have a slumber party on the Superfun air mattress. We spent Sunday at the pool and after she stuffed our bellies we got in the road for the last six hour drive ...

One more day at the beach...

We wanted to find a hotel on the beach and stay for a day, but all the hotels were booked. So, we drove late on Friday and then spent the day at a beach before getting back on the road...I could have stayed all day. We rented chairs and relaxed for as long as we could...

So tired...on the road again...
