Blueberry Picking turned Peach Picking

Friday we headed north towards Oklahoma for our annual blueberry picking extravaganza, only to be met with closed gates. :-( Apparently, the recent hailstorms wiped out the blueberry crops.  But luckily, the blueberry patch was able to send us to a nearby peach orchard, which was lovely!  It was magically cool, and they had homemade peach ice cream and free lemonade!  The boys played a little baseball while the girls feasted in the shade.

After our harvest, we stopped by a favorite park for a picnic and train ride...couldn't have asked for a better field trip!

Let's Go Rangers!

We've been to quite a few games this season...and baseball is quickly becoming a favorite sport around here.

Before and After

It's hard to believe our Madison is not only 10, but is entering TWEENHOOD, complete with braces!
And mood swings.
Just part of the ride, right?:-)

My very first kid-made breakfast in bed

Raisin bran.  Diet Coke. Apple Juice (complete with wine glass).  And ice cream.

All the necessary food groups.
