Coffee

In the absence of diet coke, I have taken up a coffee habit. Only-I can't make it worth crap. I tried twice last weekend. The first was just coffee flavored water, and the second was tar-flavored coffee. I've been drinking the coffee at school with vanilla creamer. Yummy enough...but I'd like to recreate that at home on the weekends.

What's the secret? Do I have to join a club or something?

my secret is first using yummy Costco coffee. You grind the beans in the store. Then I use one scoop (coffee scoop) per two cups of water. This combo is the perfect cup of Joe for me anyways...not too strong/or too weak!

It's trial and error D. You have to find the right amount of coffee for the water for you. Everyone likes it differently. But one coffee scoop per two cups of water is a good start. I tend to like mine a bit stronger. You can also get pretty good syrups to put in the coffee with milk if you want something sweet - Target (Super Target) sells them. I like the hazelnut, vanilla and cinnamon.

Well, if you make tar, just add hot water!

I have good luck with dunkin donuts flavored coffee - the vanilla smells just like Brach's butterscotch candy. So if it doesn't taste good, at least I got some aromatherapy.

you dont have to buy fancy coffee...like sona said you just have to figure out how you like it. i'd suggest the 1 scoop/2 cups water, and add milk...i LOVE it with milk. tony uses splenda too...i'm not a fan.

3/4 of 1/3 cup of Folgers regular to 6 cups water in a drip coffee pot.....toss in a little ground cinnamon if you're bored.

It is an art - you'll get used to it, and it could possibly be safer than diet drinks......but who am I to say.....

UUUMmmm dirt taste good! Who are you people kidding, the stuff is not good. Otherwise, why do you need to add milk or cinnamon or crazy syrups from Target. Sounds like none of you like coffee either. Just take a caffeine pill and stop kidding yourself. Personally I don't want to grow up, and I attached coffee with old people a long time ago. Here's to staying young as long as I can. I will not cave.
