Last weekend, before the big Wise County Reunion, Sona and Kevin tied the knot. It was a big suprise to most of the guests at Andrea's First Birthday Party, and everyone was excited to be at the Big Event. A few of us artfully ushered the guests outside to the pool, and once everyone was in place, the ceremony began. They picked a beautiful spot underneath some trees, and the minister talked them through the language of Love, Commitment, and Marriage. There were a few tears shed (in happiness of course), and lots of hugs afterwards. After over eight years of building a life together, eight years of writing their own story, this single moment of ceremony opened up a whole new chapter. Now they can add husband and wife to Mother and Father...Partner and Friend, but whatever their label to the world, they are most of all Sona and Kevin-and this is part of their happily ever after.
