Tomorrow is the day. I'm still drowning a little, but tomorrow is the day the kids come, and I make the complete conversion to an Elementary Teacher. Today, Madison and I went to my classroom and made a pocket chart. A POCKET CHART! ME! I hope I did it right-good grief. I plan to spend the next few days practicing things like lining up, walking to lunch, changing classes, and using that pocket chart.
The kids are surprisingly ok. I think I'm more rattled and nervous than they are.
I do have a lot of comfort in knowing that they are with me. I don't even begin to know what that will be like, really. But, going into it, it's one thing that gives me calm.
