I have gone through my pantry in years past and wrapped presents in boxes from PopTarts, cereal bars, and even frozen TV dinners. Why would you want to pay for something you already have? Plus for me, I always overestimate the amount of wrapping paper I need and underestimate the number of boxes...

true, and i sort of REFUSE to actually buy boxes...so i guess he was being a problem solver.
