A clue

One of the things I was most impressed with during the Scavenger Hunt were the elaborate clues...Here's a sample:

Your first destination
is for today's game, a prologue,
and it was thoughtfully
prepared for you by the Scrog-Dog.

The road runs south
Off to Cowtown if you can
Some might say
It's where the West Began.

Once headed that way,
make a path for the square.
As you might have heard,
Sundance Kid gambled there.

If you are thinking,
How will I find the next clue?
You will be getting close
if Billy Miner's patrons are Looky Lou.

Now across the street,
you might hear a sound.
Legendary Texas Cuisine
is cooking up abound.

Take the stairs to the top.
This is not a mistake.
There is a bar up there.
It's time for a short break.

Find the bar
and ask for the tender.
A drink should be waiting
along with a new clue to consider.
