Last Friday we headed down to the Science Museum with the Wren Clan-as is our Summer Tradition. The kids know the routine, settling into the suburban for the drive, going through the exhibits, looking for the "nose", driving the firetruck, and ending the day with the golfballs. Of course, the super science nerd in me is always pointing out this little science fact or that cool science model, and sometimes I even get a little too caught up reading something to watch the children scatter. Jennifer digs the science nerdiness too though, and it's nice to hang with friends that embrace such things. :) Last year, we were introduced to the world of Slurpees, and we continued that treat again this year. I love that the kids look forward to this fun, that they remember all the past fun, and look forward to it again next year. Ya think we will still be able to take them when they come home from college? Just for old times sake?
